What is cricket?
The cricket
is played on the grassy surface.Worth of every team in psl The shape of the common field does not matter
much, usually the radius of the entire area is about 130-150 meters. The main
action of the game takes place on a ground in the middle of the field, the
length of which is 22 yards or 20.12 meters, and the width is about 3 meters.
From both edges of the site there are wickets - similarity of gates -
consisting of three rows of rails with two bars. The height of the wicket is
67.5 cm, and the width is 20 cm.
Cricket is
played by two teams in each of which have 11 players, of which 4-5 bowlers and
5-6 batters. Another important participant is the wicket-keeper.
The game is
as follows. The server throws the ball into the gate, trying to break it. In
turn, the defender from the opposing team should not allow this and in time to
repel the ball with a bat. If the serve is repulsed, the batsman must run to
the other end of the playing field, while the other batsman of the same team,
located at the opposite end of the court, must take his place. For a full run -
changing the position of the sluggers - one point is awarded to the team.
Players of
the opposing team are not involved in the draw of the ball, they are dispersed
on the playing field. Their job is to catch the ball and return it to the game.
In case the ball is caught and returned to the game before the end of the run
of the batsmen, the run is considered lost, and the batsman leaves the game.
Also, the elimination of the batsman occurs if the batted ball was caught in
the air or the pitch was not repulsed at all.
